Unlike many booking platforms that display low “boat-only” rates and subsequently add mandatory transfer surcharges, our 3D2N reference prices ($250–$825+) represent a complete, transparent Full Package. This includes high-end round-trip Luxury Limousine Bus transfers between Hanoi Old Quarter hotels and the marina, all onboard gourmet meals (2 Breakfasts, 3 Lunches, 2 Dinners), cabin accommodation, entrance tickets, and guided excursions.
On Day 2, while 2D1N guests check out and return to Hanoi, 3D2N guests board a specialized, highly maneuverable Day Boat (Transfer Tender) after breakfast. This allows you to navigate into shallow lagoons, hidden beaches (Ba Trai Dao), or island landing points (Viet Hai Village) where large multi-deck overnight ships cannot physically anchor. You will return to your main luxury cruise vessel in the late afternoon to enjoy your second evening onboard. Your personal belongings remain completely secure in your private cabin.
On Day 2 of the Lan Ha Bay route, guests enjoy an 8km round-trip cycling excursion through the jungle and tunnels of Cat Ba National Park to visit Viet Hai Village. For guests who prefer not to cycle, comfortable electric buggies are provided at no extra cost. All water activities—including kayaking, swimming, and bamboo boat rowing—are optional and conducted with mandatory safety life jackets and professional guide supervision.
The price varies depending on the luxury rating of the fleet (4.5-star Smart Luxury vs. 6-star Ultra-Luxury like Elite of the Seas or Catherine), season of travel, and selected cabin tier. Base rates cover Standard Ocean-View Balcony Suites. For the vast majority of 4.5 to 6-star cruise vessels in our collection, all kayaking, bamboo boat rides, and entrance fees across all 3 days are fully included. However, a small minority of cruise lines manage water activities as an optional service with a nominal local surcharge. Dr. Son & Team will verify and explicitly confirm the inclusion policy of your specific boat before booking.
Over 3 days and 2 nights, you will enjoy 7 full gourmet meals (buffet and fine-dining set menus). Child policies are established by individual cruise lines based on vessel capacity and safety regulations. Exceptional 3-day journey. The "Slow Travel" approach of this tour allowed us to truly appreciate the limestone geology.
