Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat Village (L – D)
Morning: Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM. Depart for the scenic drive to Sapa by comfortable sleeping bus or limousine bus, a journey of approximately 5.5-6 hours with rest stops.
Mid-day: Arrive in Sapa town around 1:00 PM and meet your local guide. Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch before checking into your hotel.
Afternoon: Begin a gentle trek to Cat Cat Village, home to the Black H’mong people. You’ll descend into the valley to see traditional houses, observe daily activities like weaving, and admire a beautiful waterfall.
Evening: Return to Sapa town. Savor dinner at a local restaurant and then enjoy free time to explore the lively night market or local eateries.

Day 2: Sapa – Muong Hoa Valley Trek (B – L – D)
Morning: After breakfast, embark on a more extensive trek (approx. 9-12 km) through the stunning Muong Hoa Valley. Your path winds through terraced rice fields and scenic landscapes.
Mid-day: Trek to Y Linh Ho Village and Lao Chai Village, where you will have the chance to learn more about the H’mong culture. A delicious local lunch will be served at a homestay.

Morning: Enjoy a slow morning with breakfast at the hotel. You are free to relax in your room, enjoy a coffee with a mountain view, or explore the town at your own pace. (Please complete your check-out procedures and leave your luggage at the reception no later than 11:30 AM to prepare for lunch).

Sapa is magic! We had an amazing time trekking to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages. Our local guide was so funny and knew all the best spots for photos. Since this is a group tour, we met many other travelers from different countries, which was fun. The hotel was clean and had a great view of the valley. A solid experience for the price. As a solo traveler, I paid the single supplement for a private room in a 3-star hotel, and it was very decent. The trek on Day 2 is about 10-12km, so you need decent shoes, but the scenery is incredible. On Day 3, I paid extra for the Fansipan cable car—it’s pricey but the view from the "Roof of Indochina" is a must-see. Good organization.
Perfect 3-day getaway from the heat of Hanoi. We loved the "gentle trek" to Cat Cat on the first day, but the second day's trek deeper into the valley was even better. The local food served at lunch was fresh and delicious. We stayed at the Sapa Charm Hotel (4-star) and the service there was excellent. Everything went according to the itinerary. Great job!

Stunning mountains and very rich culture. We really enjoyed learning about the H'mong and Giay people. The sleeping bus back to Hanoi was on time and clean. It’s a group tour, so there are quite a few people, but the guide managed us well. If you want to see Sapa without worrying about logistics, this is a perfect choice.
