Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat Village (L – D)
Morning: Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM. Depart for Sapa by comfortable sleeping bus or limousine bus. The journey takes approximately 5.5-6 hours.
Mid-day: Arrive in Sapa town around 1:00 PM and meet your local guide. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before checking into your hotel.
Afternoon: Begin a trek to Cat Cat Village, home to the Black H’mong ethnic group. You will walk down to the village to observe traditional houses, witness daily activities, and enjoy the beautiful waterfall.
Evening: Return to Sapa town. Enjoy a traditional dinner and then have free time to explore the vibrant Sapa Night Market.
Overnight: Hotel in Sapa.
Day 2: Sapa – Trekking/Exploration – Hanoi (B – L)
Morning: After breakfast, check out of your room (you can leave your luggage at the reception). The day offers two options:
Option 1 (Common Trekking): Embark on a moderate trek through the stunning Muong Hoa Valley. You’ll visit Lao Chai Village (Black H’mong) and Ta Van Village (Giay), experiencing breathtaking views of terraced rice fields.
Option 2 (More Relaxed): Explore Ham Rong Mountain (Dragon’s Head Mount) with its beautiful gardens, or have free time for shopping. An optional trip to the Fansipan cable car is also available. NOTE: All the Extra Cost is on the guest’s own Expenses.
Mid-day: Enjoy a final lunch at a local restaurant in Sapa town.
Afternoon: Gather at the bus station around 2:30 PM for the return journey to Hanoi.
Evening: Arrive in Hanoi between 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM, with drop-off at your hotel in the Old Quarter. The tour concludes here.

We had a very solid 2-day trip to Sapa. Since it was a group tour, we were a bit worried about the bus, but the sleeping bus was surprisingly comfortable and on time. Cat Cat Village is a bit touristy but very pretty for photos. Our guide in Sapa was local and very friendly. Big thanks to Anna for helping us book the 4-star hotel option—the mountain view was definitely worth the extra few dollars. A great, efficient way to see Sapa if you’re short on time.
