II.  List of Generals of the Vietnam People’s Public Security

As of June 2025, Vietnam has had 8 Generals of People’s Public Security promoted to this rank:

1. General Mai Chi Tho (promoted 1989): Former Minister of Interior (now Minister of Public Security).
