It is ideal if you want to experience the highlights of Northern Vietnam while keeping your travel cost competitive.
LEVEL 2 — SMART HYBRID keeps the core journey while adding selected private experiences and comfort upgrades, such as a Private Hanoi Food Tour or Cultural Tour, optional Hanoi accommodation and other selected enhancements.

The starting prices are based on different service configurations and realistic travel arrangements for each level.
Level 1 — Pure Combination is built around quality shared services, allowing us to maintain a highly competitive starting price. Level 2 — Smart Hybrid and Level 3 — Luxury Bespoke involve a greater degree of private service, flexibility and personalization. Their starting prices are therefore designed around a more comfortable and realistic reference configuration rather than simply adding a fixed upgrade fee to Level 1.
If you are traveling alone or as a very small party and would like the Smart Hybrid or Luxury Bespoke experience, that is absolutely possible. We will simply recalculate the journey according to your actual party size and selected services. Because private services are operated for fewer guests, the per-person price may be higher.

We intentionally keep Hanoi accommodation flexible because travelers have very different preferences when visiting the capital.
Some guests already have a preferred Hanoi hotel, may be staying with friends or family, or may want to choose their own accommodation based on location, hotel category and budget. For these travelers, including a hotel automatically could create unnecessary cost.
For Level 1 — Pure Combination, Hanoi accommodation is therefore not included as standard.
With Level 2 — Smart Hybrid, you can add selected Hanoi hotel options, including 3-star or 4-star accommodation, while also choosing private Hanoi experiences.

Worth every single penny!! Traveled with my elderly parents & 2 energetic kids so couldnt risk any chaotic mess. Level 3 (Luxury Bespoke) was literally flawless. Having our own private van & guide made the hanoi-ninh binh trip super easy. The 5-star Lan ha cruise cabin felt like a floating boutique hotel (my kids didnt wanna leave lol). Super sulit guys!! We were 6 barkadas on tight budget so we booked Level 1 pure combo n just stayed in a cheap Hanoi hostel we found on Agoda. The shared bus transfer was clean and fast, Trang An boat row was surreal! n Lan ha bay overnight cruise was 10/10. Great choice if u want to save cash but still wanna see all main spots.
The Smart Hybrid (Level 2) setup is honestly genius idea. Joined group bus for ninh binh to save money, but had our own private Foodie tour on Day 1 in hanoi Old Quarter. Eating egg coffee & bun cha with our guide Tony on first night made us feel so welcomed. Lan ha bay is WAY quieter than classic halong route!! minor issue: Mua cave stairs were tough on my knees haha but worth it for pics.

Wat een fantastische reis! 5 dagen is precies genoeg voor dit programma. Wij kozen voor Level 2 (Smart Hybrid). De cyclo rit en Ao Dai fotoshoot op dag 1 waren erg leuk (mijn man vond de kleding wat krap haha!). Lan Ha Bay overnachting was heel rustig, bijna geen andere boten gezien. Strak geregeld door Dr. Son en Anna. Bedankt!!
As Singaporeans we dislike wasting time lah. This 5D4N package super efficient! Level 2 very good balance: private airport transfer + private food tour on Day 1, then join group for cruise & Ninh Binh. Food overall damn solid, Mua cave view sweated a lot but beautiful. Anna was very quick reply on Whatsapp. Recommended!
A big challenge for our kids to conquer Mua cave, so, we decide to stay down hill.
super voyage! On a pris Level 1 pck on avait déja reservé notre propre hotel dans le vieux quartier de Hanoi. Le bus pour Ninh Binh et la baie de Lan Ha était très propre. Le kayak au coucher du soleil dans la baie... juste incroyable!! Bon rapport qualité prix pour les jeunes.
Excellent service. We took Level 3 Bespoke and requested Halal food for our meals. Dr. Son & team managed everything very nicely. The private car was smooth n comfortable for long distance travel, and Lan Ha bay cruise cabin was very clean & luxury. Will definitely recommend to friends in KL!
We were confused between full private or group tour, but Level 2 gave best of both world! The private Old Quarter street tour was amazing (loved the egg coffee!!), and the Lan Ha Bay cruise had nice international crowd. Sunset kayaking was highlight of trip. Only downside was rainy weather on day 2 morning but guide handled it well.

I booked Level 1 (Pure Combination) because I had already booked my own little hotel room in Hanoi and just wanted a reliable, cost-effective setup for the transfers and excursions. Joining the small groups for Ninh Binh and the Lan Ha Bay overnight cruise was great—I got to meet awesome fellow travelers while still having my own quiet time. Everything worked like clockwork. Kayaking through the karst lagoons in Lan Ha was pure peace, and the Trang An boat ride was unreal. Very safe, super well organized, and unbeatable value for money.
